Shaykh Nur al-Din Itr related that the Shaykh would dream of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) frequently, once he saw the Prophet and he ordered Imam Ali to dress the Shaykh with his cloak, and another time the Prophet told him: “you are our dedicated servant.” After which he would say: “the Prophet is pleased to have me as his servant.”
